Welcome to Train Up Preschool

May Theme: Ocean Explorers

The month of May is all about summer!

Everyone jump in to Ocean Explorers month!  We will learn about summer, water, and ocean animals.  What would you find at the beach, or on a deep sea dive?  Find out what happened to Jonah and the Big Fish and learn about Jesus' baptism.  We will review all the letters, numbers, and colors that we have been learning all year.  We will be preparing a special year end graduation ceremony for all of our special parents and families.  We have had such an awesome year at Train Up, what better way to end it than with a Field Day on the last day - and what's a Field Day without a bounce house?!

Why Choose Train Up Preschool?

Even though 2 days a week may not seem like much, it can make a huge impact in a young child’s life.  Your child will learn how to interact with other children, how to behave in a classroom setting, and learn respect for adults, especially their teacher.  Train Up is not daycare; we spend our time with your child in active learning.  Our class sizes and the number of children in a classroom are kept small.  This keeps the noise level down which helps young children with language development and it limits distractions.  Our teachers are caring, loving people who have kids and are active teachers in Churches around the community.  We encourage you to stop in for a tour and a chat with our director.  Come see what a difference early training can make in your child’s life!

Here's a song that we are all learning
in class and you can sing at home with your child.

Zacchaeus Was a Wee Little Man

Zacchaeus was a wee little man,
And a wee little man was he.
He climbed up in a sycamore tree,
For the Lord he wanted to see.
And as the Savior passed him by,
He looked up in the tree,
And he said, "Zacchaeus,
You come down from there;
For I'm going to your house today,
For I'm going to your house today"

Zacchaeus came down from that tree,
As happy as he could be,
He gave his money to the poor,
And said: "What a better man I'll be."

We are excited to start the school year.  We have lots of fun projects and activities planned for your child.  Please let us know if you want to help with any party days or special activities.  We love to have our parents involved!

Thank you for checking us out!

Our goal at Train Up Preschool is to provide a safe, happy, Christian learning environment in our community. Our Train Up Preschool program is on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM for children ages 18 months to 4 years and runs September through May. All Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD holidays, vacations, and bad weather closings are observed. The curriculum is designed to be educational and Biblical so that your child will develop and grow mentally, socially and spiritually.

Let the fun begin!

Special activities are planned throughout the year to enrich your child’s learning experience at Train Up Preschool.  We have Firemen, a visit from Santa, Dads&Donuts, Silly Sock Day, a Bounce House, and more!

Christian Education

Your child will enjoy learning about God’s love for everyone.  Each week we share stories from the Bible and complete fun Bible-related activities.  We also have Chapel each school day where we have worship and prayer time together.
